Full course description

Music is a powerful medium for expression, catharsis, and connecting with others. In this offering, we will examine how music can be used in the classroom for building positive community, tackling topics for discussion, developing emotional vocabulary, and enhancing collaborative projects.  Teachers and staff need not be musicians or music teachers to participate.
This offering is aligned to the CPS Framework for Teaching Components 2a, 2d, 3a, 3c, and 4d.
