Full course description
In these sessions, participants will learn about different restorative justice philosophy, the importance of and techniques for building community in the classroom, Restorative Conversations, Classroom talking circles for teaching, learning, and addressing concerns, and engaging in introspective reflection, learning and growth. Participants will gain knowledge in implementation of talking circles and Restorative Conversations to enhance a culture of respect and rapport and cultivating a positive learning environment. This offering addresses the CPS Framework for Teaching Components: 2a, 2c, 2d and 3b.
