Exploring the World Without Leaving Your Chair: Google Maps, Earth, Arts & Culture

Online Only | This 3 hour course will introduce teachers to the use of several online instructional tools provided by Google. Google Maps and Google Earth are well known tools for personal use but also have a wealth of classroom applications, particularly with distance learning. Google Arts and Culture, an online platform to virtually tour partner museums and culturally important sites, will also be demonstrated. Teachers will leave with ideas for using these tools in their distance instruction. This is an ASYNCHRONOUS class; there is no video meeting at a specific time. You can engage with the content whenever you would like.
