Screencastify 101: Record, Edit, Share and Collect Videos

Online Only | The Chicago Teachers Union Foundation Quest Center offers an opportunity to learn more about Screencastify, a screen recorder for Chrome. This extension allows teachers to record, edit, share videos, and create video assignments in seconds. It is a useful tool for teachers recording screencasts for students, utilizing "flipped classroom" methodology, teaching students to record/edit video, and sharing classroom content with students remotely. This is an ASYNCHRONOUS class; there is no video meeting at a specific time. You can engage with the content whenever you would like. This offering is aligned to the CPS Framework for Teaching Domain 1 and 3  – 1d, 1e, 3a, 3c, 3d.
