Full course description

Online Only | The primary goals of this course are to:
1. Teach teachers to build a team to develop a story of an empowering culturally responsive and diverse children's book.
2. Teach teacher teams to write the book through using a growth/anti-fragile mindset, feedback, and product testing.
3. Prepare teachers for the process of self-publishing a book (to be continued in course 2).
4. Prepare teachers to evolve the program into one that involves their school’s children and grade level teams to create and publish a book together to expand authorship to children.
