Full course description
Online Only | The global pandemic has worsened the public health challenges that help to drive violence and suicide among children and teens. Public health experts have declared the mental health of youth as a national public emergency. As school-aged children and youth cope with growing levels of aggression and bullying, that is a risk factor for suicide, rising gun violence has also increased the number of shootings on school grounds. The severity of this public health crisis requires that school communities come together to develop holistic interventions that recognize the role of social determinants on the roots of violence.
