Full course description

The Chicago Teachers Union Foundation Quest Center offers an opportunity to learn more about Google Drive and Google Docs, a free web-based word processor and document management system connected to the Google account of every CPS teacher. Inexperienced users will build skills and experience in Drive and Docs to advance student learning. More experienced users will learn about some lesser known features of these powerful tool to save time and paper. We will organize, filter and search our Drive, as well as upload, create and share files. In Google Docs, we will share & collaborate on documents, comment on student work, and explore supports for young writers.

Attend later seminars in this series to pursue the Google Certified Educator (Level 1) exam. This valuable certification will show competency with core G Suite apps.  This offering is aligned to the CPS Framework for Teaching Domain 1 and 3  – 1d, 1e, 3a, 3c, 3d.
